BEGIN_SECTION VERSION 5 OUT Either a Unicode system with UTF 16 or a non-Unicode system with a non-Unicode code page. From AS ABAP ABAP_RELEASE 7.0, only single code page systems are supported and from ABAP_RELEASE ABAP_762 only Unicode systems. The text environment for an ABAP_ISESS can only be set using this code page in a single code page system. See also MDMP system.
