SAP GUI Component of the presentation layer of an AS ABAP that is installed on its presentation servers. Implements the SAP-specific GUI of appropriately programmed AS ABAP applications. The SAP GUI user interface consists of the graphical interface (GUI) in a GUI window and the function keys and other keys of an input device (keyboard or hardware components that simulate keyboards, such as bar code readers). SAP GUI also supports additional functions in the presentation layer such as GUI controls, OLE automation, or the execution of operating system statements.
