pooled table Before ABAP_RELEASE ABAP_773 , table category of a DDIC database table in the ABAP Dictionary. A pooled table was not defined as such on the database . Instead, multiple pooled tables were stored in a table pool in the database. Only AB_SQL could be used to access pooled tables whilst certain other restrictions also applied. Pooled tables are no longer supported since ABAP_RELEASE ABAP_773 . Any existing pooled tables were transformed to transparent tables.
