Obsolete Statements in List Processing
Classic lists should no longer be used in production application programs. SAP List Viewer (ALV) should be used instead of classic lists. If classic lists are still used for any reason, then the following constructs must be avoided:

Obsolete formatting

Obsolete calculations

Obsolete list event

Obsolete spooling
BEGIN_SECTION SAP_INTERNAL_HINT
The undocumented statement MARK from R/2 is also obsolete but gives a syntax error only in classes.
END_SECTION SAP_INTERNAL_HINT
