DDL
Short for Data Definition Language. Subset of SQL . The statements in the DDL create and delete the objects of a relational database. AB_SQL does not support DDL.
BEGIN_SECTION VERSION 5 OUT ABAP-managed database objects are edited using tools and frameworks in AS ABAP, such as ABAP Dictionary, ABAP CDS, and AMDP. Objects in ABAP CDS and some in the ABAP Dictionary, have a separate CDS DDL or Dictionary DDL, which include SQL and extend it.
