SAP Transactions

You can create a SAP parameter transaction for any SM30 table maintenance dialog by adding the table into the VIEWNAME attribute and setting the update or view value to ‘X’. To do this create the transaction like any other but choose the “parameter transaction” option when presented with the list of options. Available parameter transaction

SAP transaction codes are an easy way of executing SAP functionality, you simply enter the tcode into the command box in the top left-hand corner and then press enter. As well as the actual code you want to execute there are various options available to you which can also be entered into the sap command

The simple way to check sap authorisation and see if you have all the appropriate authorisations for a transaction code, or see which specific authorisations a particular t-code has failed on is to simply execute it. Then use transaction SU53 to see all the failed authorisation checks.  This is also the standard way of requesting

Sometimes you may need to manually resize your se80 window as the left-hand object navigation window can become almost hidden, and you are not able to grab hold of the expansion line functionality.    If this has happened to you it is very easy to fix, simply by updating the width field within the SAP
